Ultimate 1x7 Steelwire Leader Black 30cm - 2pcs

Good all round, strong trace.

This 1x7 Steelwire Leader from Ultimate has pleasantly surprised me. At first glance, it may seem like a relatively simple steel leader, but in practice you notice that its strength and durability should absolutely not be underestimated. I use this type of leader specifically for lure fishing, and that is exactly where the material has to endure quite a lot. Think of powerful casts, frequent casting and retrieving, contact with obstacles, and of course the teeth of predatory fish. Despite that, this leader continues to do its job properly. The 40 lbs version also gives a reassuring sense of security when you are specifically targeting strong predatory fish. What I especially appreciate is that you do not get the feeling that choosing an inexpensive option automatically means compromising on reliability. The leader is strong, durable, and practical to use. Especially for fishing with lures, I find that an important advantage, because your gear is put under considerable strain during a session. I also like the 30 cm length. It is long enough to provide good protection against the teeth of a predatory fish, without immediately having to deal with an unnecessarily long leader while casting. For me, this is therefore once again one of those products where the value for money is simply very good. It may not be a product you expect a great deal from in advance, but precisely because of that, its actual strength and durability stand out even more positively. Absolutely not a bad purchase, and as far as I am concerned, a reliable choice for the lure angler targeting powerful predatory fish. The 40 lbs strength should certainly not be underestimated here. I would therefore buy this leader again without any hesitation.
