The clamp itself clamps well, but it is not tight. The part for drinking can be in the fish box while the clamp remains mounted. Always drink at hand without the possibility of falling into the water. Is only a handiness to blindly place the cup because the holder can just rotate. That can sometimes be a little tricky.
