The front opening is easily rolled up and secured with Velcro while the entire front panel can be removed to create an open-front shelter. The Ultimate Nightstar Bivvy has a removable heavy-duty groundsheet and is finished with sturdy rings and sturdy zippers. Haven't really been able to test it out for overnight stay yet but can say it's a top notch place for the price! It doesn't get any better than this!
