The Ultimate Rod Bite Alarm is a compact bite alarm that can be easily attached to almost any rod. The bite alarm is attached to the rod blank with the main line over the reel. When you take a bite you will hear a sound and the LED will emit a signal. The alarms are fitted with an on/off switch. Ideal for all types of static fishing!

Already used several times and effective on strong bites. Slightly less sensitive with bream.

- Is not always reliable at light bite
Nice compact system, not practical for e.g. recoil systems but practical for free running. No adjustable sensitivity or volume, simply attach to rod, line over it and slip open/brace loose. Beeps when line rolls away, also a light. Batteries save by turning system away, then power goes off. Not sure yet if and how to change batteries if necessary.
