Good enough to simply and cheaply place one extra detector on a separate support, nothing to be afraid of whether it works or not, recommended
I was never one for bite alarms and always just fished on the top of the rod, but on a few occasions the rod was almost pulled off the support during method feeding for convenience I switched to a bite alarm. You are now more quickly alerted to the bite and are there in time. I sit at one meter from the rods. So far I like it. About the durability and battery consumption I can't say anything yet.

Bite detector does what it is supposed to do. Operates on readily available 9volt battery. Available in different colors. Volume and tone control only volume is on the low side. Detector is very compact and comes in a bag so easy to carry.
